I applaud Congress and the Bush Administration for passing these tax cuts through 2010. I admit outsourcing has hurt many, especially those in high tech positions. But the name of the game if you are in business is to cut your expenses and maximize profit without destroying customer service too much. This is the shareholder ownership society, baby. Self-reliance and independence are virtues I espouse. Don't be so naive, Buddy. When a country is in recession, it's the rich and mega-rich who bail the country out by spending and investing while the poor whine and cry for the government to help them out. I'd love to see social security eliminated and people start taking responsibility for their own retirement. The problem is that most Americans don't have the discipline to take a portion of their earnings out each week and invest it for retirement. Instead, they need big brother to do that for them or otherwise they'll spend their whole paycheck. Honestly, I don't know why people can't wipe their own arse without the permission of big brother. OH Daddy, please take my money out of my paycheck or I won't have any money to live on when I retire. I want to know when Big Daddy is gonna pull the chord and make all the babies grow up!
