No it is you we cant afford but as Mike says, this is america and we have to. How dare you insult folks who risk their lives for their country on the basis of their service and not their ideas? And then go ahead and make fun of their service on subs to boot. Like you would ever have the balls to do that--same for me. I was on the left during the vietnam protests and i had these fights with many others on the left who disrespected the service of others as well as rooting for the other side. I dont think you go so far but others here appear to. Speaking of war profiteers, you did quite well with your oil shale play which is based on the terror premium. I dont see you giving that money up to move on.org any time soon or supporting an excess profits tax on Suncor.

The entire thread owes you an apology for chris. Left and right alike. When folks like kerry, cleland, murtha, wesley clark etc were slimed i spoke out. We can disagree with them and i often disagree with you but the slime attack of chris is despicable. If anyone on the left has any decency left, they should be dittoing this message.
