'if the residents of masset and old massett don't start putting up their christmas decorations pretty quickly, he won't be visiting us this year'. The boys and I strung up the lights outside this weekend. I just hate those pesky strings of lights that seem fine when you test them, but after you string them up they go dead. Had a few of those. Then we set up and decorated the tree. Next I watched as my boys set up their Lionel train set. It was cool. I jogged some memories. Especially when they would get all the train cars properly seated on the track and then after one or two laps it would derail for some strange reason. Always in the hard to reach back section under the Christmas tree. That same look of frustration was on each of their faces was the one I had. That same look of joy was there too. Not much has changed in all these years... -Santa
