BJ, It was clearly discussed, at the time, that their intention was not to have a religion rule the nation, as it has in Italy, Spain, and England, but nowhere did they say that religion could not be present among the populace, or be mentioned in public. They also, never said that every religion must be mentioned with mention, or display, of another. It is the atheistic liberals that have made it against the law to use the word God, to say "Merry Christmas", put a manger scene on private church property, portray the crucifiction of Jesus, and in many cases, the mere mention of God. A secular nation has no basis for morality. Hence, the rampage of sexual crime, murders that are not prosecuted, riots in the streets, destruction of the family unit, etc. etc. Without a moral base, this nation will destroy itself just like the ancient Roman Empire. You should read "The Rinse And Fall Of The Roman Empire", and you will see the blueprints for the future of America. Reading a book, may be very difficult for you, but is worth the effort. If you enjoy living in anarchy, go ahead, but count me out.
