Ted, Did you know that now menarche or menstruation starts in 4th grade for many girls?

I've wondered what is causing our kids to mature even earlier than they used to. Some blame hormones used in agriculture. I know a friend of mine who is having his whole family go organic because of that belief.

Of course, societal maturity is taking longer than it used to, mainly because of modernization. Big imbalance there between physical and social maturity, which is leading to generations of teenagers with raging hormones but ill-defined ways to deal with them.

I'm not sure what the best solutions to this are.
