Dislocate the people who can afford it all you want, but the working poor have enough problems without us adding more. I am not advocating that we do any of this stuff willy nilly like the way we went to war. There are people who can study this stuff and tell us pretty much who would suffer and how that suffering could be alleviated. They could also more precisely tell us the approximate benefits and allow us to judge the fairness. Within those parameters, there would be a lot of leeway, but mostly it comes down to the execution. You can't have incompetent cronies and purely religious people doing this stuff. You need good people to do this. I have no doubt we have plenty. It is only the leadership that is missing.
