What are you talking about? Where did I even comment on one of your posts? I even clarified it by saying it was a post from Brent to James. Brent is the one who capitalized church but not God. Did you read it? If I would criticize you it would be about your reading, not your typing. Read my post again.

Romans 4:5 says if you don't work but only have faith your faith will be reckoned as righteousness. 1 Corinthians 3:13 says that even if our works are found to be made of straw and burned up, we are still saved. These are Paul's words to the uncircumcision. The verses you quoted in 39086 were Christ's words to the circumcision at a time when He Himself said He came only for the lost sheep of Israel and not to go to the nations. Different dispensation Sidney. Works plus faith = salvation for them. Faith only = salvation for us. They were forgiven IF they forgave others(see the parable of the 10000 talent debtor Matt 18:21-35), we are justified by faith only. Theirs was a salvation hinging on their actions. An "if" salvation. Ours is nothing we do. We live in the age of pure grace.

Have a good one Sid.

btw, all WILL be saved.

" not all will be saved."

Since according to Alan "all will be saved", I wonder why he wastes his time trying to condemn and correct some of us "already saved" folks because of our "faulty doctrines". If he already knows that we will all be saved, why bother? All his words and arguments are meaningless because they simply cannot influence the conclusion--salvation for all. Why worry about right and wrong, good and evil, and correct or incorrect theology? It all comes out in the wash in the end. The doctrine of Reconciliation of All Things is similar to the the teachings of deism and masonry, and probably was influenced by that cult.
