Bush's crumbling of his Iraq policy has already started. he is going to pull out a significant number of troops from Iraq in time for the 2006 Congressional elections. That would signal not only a victory of the American people but also a victory for the Iraqi people who do not desire foreign occupiers.

Seeing the swell of people's opposition to Bush's Iraq policy here in the US, the Arab countries have now stepped forward to take charge of their brothers and sisters in Iraq and to ensure that they are not overrun by countries like Iran.

It is not a question of you convincing me or vice versa. Instead it is what unfolds in spite of our differences of opinion. What is unfolding is the defeat of imperialist tendencies of the Cheney gang not only by the Iraqi populace but also by the US people whom the fascist right wrongly label as "liberals" "unpatriotic" etc. etc.

The American taxpayers' dollars should not be spent in supporting occupation of foreign lands indefinitely. The taxpayers would not mind if instead they were spent for going after terrorists such as Al Zawahiri and others in the mountains of Waziristan in Pakistan.
