"Do you have any idea of how many population centers in this country are in danger of a whole array of natural disasters?" OK, case by case. When the San Andreas fault cracks and sends San Francisco into the Ocean I promise not to spend any money trying to drag it back up. It is a simple question, jelly. Is it cost justified and in the best interests of the country to spend the money on the work? So, far all you have done is whine about people losing their private investments. Make your case for why it is good for the country and I will back you. Other wise, accept your losses and move to higher ground.
