"That's why its gov't that builds freeways, airports, subways etc. Those items are built for the common good and the common good benefits.

The government pays for the infrastructure to be built for the common good, when common good is the beneficiary.

Many towns have become ghost towns when they no longer benefitted the common good.

"With your attitude, few cities would be rebuilt in this country after a natural disaster. "

When you show me the benefit to the common good, I will support you. Otherwise, move to higher ground.

When San Francisco falls off, people will rebuild East of the San Andreas Fault... but they will be whining about their losses, just like you.
