Yes .. Absolutely there is a Science to it .. I'll refer to Ranier Trinidad for this one .. He taught me to Buy the Breakout on a GTC. Ok .. you sold it near 11.00 .. Right ... ?? The Candles above 11.00 are mostly Black (Red on this Chart) .. When it Clears the Highs .. Back in with Tight Stops. So you miss some of the move ... after a move like this .. who cares? stockcharts.com But AIRM Gapped Up [Not a Word about Gap Filling ;)] ... it needed to be bot on the 50. After the Stoch Crossover on the Flag. It was dealing with Horz R and the 50 as support .. the 50 won. But the Compression or Pinch between S and R usually results in a Nice Move. stockcharts.com 10/26 woulda done it as well. Message 21827666
