<You seem to take joy in painting Americans as an ignorant lot.> Don't get uppity. Americans aren't more ignorant than other people, overall. They just know different things. Ignorance is a defining characteristic of humans. It's extremely popular. Any of us only needs a momentary glance at Google to see the gaping maw and compare our own puny heads where knowledge isn't. That's why cyberspace is so popular. Our brains without it can't communicate, know little, and are very chimpoid. The industrial revolution replaced our puny muscles with huge strength, which could crush huge slabs of steel into thin strips and slice and dice it in minutes, and dig mountains of coal using rotating bucket scoops at tons a second and power huge ships through storms across oceans. The cyberspace revolution is doing the same for our puny brains, but is far, far more significant than the industrial revolution. Brains beats muscles any day. The mass graves were not surprising given that Iraq was in a huge war with Iran. WWI involved mass graves in the millions. WWII involved mass graves too. Have you ever checked out Arlington. Plus Saddam wasn't mucking about with criminals or other opposition. He did Kent State large scale if needed. That's what those in authority do. They brook no opposition. Look at the guy shot by air marshals the other day for trying to get off an airliner and acting weird and not following instructions [apparently]. Mqurice
