Well, as is our custom, I called the TA friday. The current O/S is 2,904,540,078. SO, they either sold 100 mil if you go by the last time I called the TA (12.7.05)

A/S 20 billion
O/S 2,804,540,078

OR they bought back 60 million if you use the websites numbers.

Look at this from the company website ( vswm.com )

OUTSTANDING SHARES AS OF 10/31/2005

Outstanding Shares 2,964,540,078
Affiliated Restricted 2,029,684,656
The Public Float 934,855,422

Looks like we should be able to get a pretty good handle on things next month. Will be real interesting to see if the O/S goes up of down....of course, they could lower the O/S while selling some of the restricted(guess that's why rrufff just said we have to use the price as our guide) and therefore the float may still increase. This kind of maneuvering is what I call "Dancing with the Dragon". It's very stimulating, but we should not have to "out fox" the CEO. I'm going to finish this dance, and see if she breathes fire or gives a kiss("...would you betray with a kiss?").

Anyway, the mystery will all be over soon enough. The price can't go much lower, and the restricted shares can't last forever. I think we are into the final act and will know if Mark is a prince or a villain.
