" In earlier incidents there where a number of cases where groups of Lebanese men did gang rape young Australian women" Than you say "What's true is that in 2002 some Lebanese gang members raped several white women" Well apparently that one wasn't unfounded. So I assume your saying this didn't happen - " Telling them that they were sluts because of the fact that they where wearing normal modern bathing suits rather than covering themselves up as the Lebanese men thought they should, and threatening them with rape." Is that right? Why is it when its another race, a darker race, the crime becomes much more serious, warranting a 55 year sentence as opposed to a 30 year sentence for a white man? That's like saying "have you stopped beating your wife". The question contains an assumption that I would dispute. I don't think it is a more serious crime when someone of another race, or specifically a "darker" race commits a rape. The harsher penalties were apparently because it was gang rape. Even if they were for racial reasons I think we would both agree that the race of the perp doesn't change the seriousness of the crime (and shouldn't change the seriousness of the punishment. So who is saying "my way or the highway"? The Aussie white racists. Yes they are doing that as well. Australia, like most Anglo Saxon cultures, has had a history of racism. I think you should substitute "like most cultures" rather than "like most Anglo Saxon cultures". Racism hardly relies on "Anglo Saxon" decent. Try to imagine what would have happened had two white Australians assaulted two Lebanese lifeguards and the Lebanese decided to riot like the white Aussies did. First, it would never happen in a million years The Australians are hardly the first people to riot or violently protest in response to rapes, let alone in response to crime and abuse in general. I don't think you have any solid basis for your "it would never happen in a million years" comment. You think its reasonable because two lifeguards got assaulted that people should demand that Australia be only for white people and that everyone should conform to what those white people think is the way to exist? No. I said my earlier statements were reasonable. My earlier statements don't even vaguely resemble "because two lifeguards got assaulted that people should demand that Australia be only for white people and that everyone should conform to what those white people think is the way to exist." In fact I lead with " The rioting and destruction were wrong". You see the Lebanese Christians and Muslims in Australia have moved into the white blue collar suburbs of Sydney and often are competing for the same jobs while willing to take a lower wage. This comes as blue collar jobs in general are declining in Australia. Naturally, the blue collar whites feel threatened and angry. Yes that is the background of the riots and created the conditions that made the riots possible. The irony of all of this is that both groups, the Lebanese and the blue collar Aussies, are the victims of the ruling class who long ago decided to open up AU immigration laws in the hopest of encouraging cheaper labor to move AU. Guess what.........it worked. Some of the Lebanese might be victims of rioters or of racism in general but I don't see how they are victims of the Australian government because the government allowed them to immigrate. Edit - Re "Young men behaving badly span all races" That is certainly true. Tim
