re: It started before 9/11. It started back in 2000, during the election and controversy over FLA. It became clear then that these people would do whatever it took to gain power. And they have.......... Frankly, I think Gore et al would have done anything as well. But from a broader perspective, you may be right. That may have been the tipping point when the rule of law broke down. Bush and company certainly don't embrace the "rule of law"; they are working to outfox it at every opportunity. John
