She is a mother who lost her son in Iraq. I met a mother who lost her son also in Iraq. Specifically went to meet her, with my grandkids in tow, so that they could see what a real hero looks like. This mother had been standing out in the rain all day with some friends collecting items to send to our Military forces in Iraq. The local Safeway store allowed her to be there AND they said they would pay the postage on all the items she collected during the day....There were 10 HUGE boxes full of items when we got there at 4:30. Many of the other boxes had been taken inside already. Talked to this mother for awhile, and she just wanted to do something constructive in honor of her son's sacrifice, as well as all the other sons and daughters who have been killed and wounded in service to this Country.

One local broadcasting company in Seattle had been talking about her upcoming effort two weeks prior...And looks like many people remembered.

She didn't even know the station had done that.

NOT AT ALL LIKE SHEEHAN. Thank God!
