The war on drugs can be won almost instantly. Legalise it, even tax it a little. Massive criminal organization collapses.

I even expect drug abuse would go down. Certainly the adolescent population would see drugs in a different light.

Since Bolivia makes a LOT of money from selling cocaine to Americans, they are sure to be grumpy when their exports are cut off

Not to mention the impoverished Indians of the Andes have always been susceptible to Marxist populism.
