Ted, I am not suggesting to take away people's freedom to choose but I think there needs to be a realignment of people's priorities that usually has to come from the top down. I agree with everything you say up to the "top down" part. I'm more for discouraging excesses in consumerism via the "bottom up" approach, if you get my meaning. I would love it if that happened but usually it takes the leaders to change the direction of a nation. Either way, I think something has to give.......we are spending like a 16 year old kid who's parents just gave him 3 credit cards with no limits.
