Nothing. To do anything else would mean they have capitulated. There still is a chance they can spin their way out of this, however small that chance may be. Nixon had the same air of confidence up until the moment he read his resignation.


Nixon is such a negative.....why are they making comparisons/correlations to him? Either they are so arrogant they can't see what a misstep that is, or they feel confident they are in full control.

I remember Nixon as being pretty much a paranoid shut-in in the WH in the latter days of Watergate. There was a big concern about who was running the country, who was watching the nuclear football, etc..
