I'm not sure what you mean by "Ideal Libertarianism". If you mean some particular and fairly artificial libertarian vision you may be correct

I mean the Ayn Rand John Galt (sp??) type of noble greed. Just because you conjure up an ideal, does not mean that people are in reality that way. Businesses are not full of pure noble capitalists, and the government is not full of corruption. They are both populated with very similar individuals, who have a good deal of self interest. Oversight of both is useful. Pretending otherwise is not.
