RE:"I cannot believe GM's Union demanded a better plan than it -- the Union will bankrupt GM."

Plus hundreds of other companies and the country as a whole.

re: The GM's Auto Union health care plan (i.e. blue collar health care plan) is reportedly better than GM's white collar health care plan.

My Dad & Mom are on GM's white collar health care plan for retirees and it's a very, very good plan. Yet, GM's Union demanded a better plan for their union members.

Is there a reason why you think a blue collar workers health plan should be worse than a white collar workers health plan (never mind the fact that it doesn't make any sense to have them different at all)?

re: When will my fellow Democrats realize what the Unions are doing to this country? My Aunt was a union leader for an organization you would know and the media would pull her out for advice - because she was good - but today's unions would embarrass her.

She would probably be embarrassed at how weak they are. The lack of worker bargaining power is destroying a good portion of the middle class, while the S&P 500 companies continue to report record profits. Have you heard about the white collar unions that are starting to form? The low wage, no benefit disease is moving up the employment scale.

Wealth and good times used to be shared... now the good times only reward the top 20%.
