I see things differently.

The main reason why there has not been a huge backlash against the Zionist neo-cons and their war mongering foreign policy is that the central banks of China and Japan are in essence financing the war on the cheap.

As a consequence -- in contrast to past wars -- the American people have NOT YET had to pay any significant economic or financial price for the Iraq madness. To the contrary stocks and real estate have boomed as the Asians continue to flood the US with cheap high quality products while accumulating monumental amounts of Treasury debt to keep bond yields low.

Once this paradigm changes -- and I think there is a good chance that it will in 2006 -- support for the Bushies and their neo-con masters will melt like ice in the Sahara IMHO.
