Dear Tom,

Despite a massive lack of support from Wayne being on vacation so much this year and having NW and CGE in my portfolio my Yahoo site says I am still up 27%??! I took the residue from NW and CGE and put it in MFL!!

Hope you all have a Happy New Year and great trading results in 2006!

Semper Fi and Best Personal Regards,

LBS1989

Well some jrs release the first hole if its great.

And some never release if bad results.

And a variety of release types in between.

Tom, FWIW, I was always told that, in this game, "No news is bad news"... Don't expect good news to be hidden.

When you think about it from their point of view, "Bad news is no news" too. I believe a company is obliged to report only items that materially affect it. They could reason that a "nothing" core is hardly material... bad news is no news at all.

bad news comes by slow freight often, and if the news is great, you cannot keep it a secret.

there can be an in between as jackjc says, where the news is ok, and in a big mix it adds to something, or is geologically significant, but it won't at present drive the stock. That kind of news is often "timed" as they say, in order to give stock support some leeway. better suspense and no selling than lack of it and a scramble to pick up the market.

maybe their spin meister is off for the holidays.
