Bush's crime is impeachable. Don't lie. Nixon was forced to resign for less, to avoid imminent impeachment. If a president wiretaps without warrant domestically, he has crossed the line into gross abuse of power. He has betrayed the foundation of our democracy, which is checks and balances, as well as each America's right to privacy and due process.

The FISA court gives Bush all the powers he will ever need to bug terror suspects.
Also, Bush did not inform congress or get their concsent. Not a single congressmen they spoke to agrees with that Bush-Rice statement at all. In fact, they were lied to by the Bushies.

So why did Bush avoid the court and congress? So he could spy on his political opponents. That is impeachable, as John Dean stated, and Bush already admitted to it publicly on TV.

DOn't believe the BS spin and excuses Bushies give for this. The war powers buills gave GW no such authority. And the Constitution specifically forbids this kind of thing. And don't believe for a minute they're spying on only Al Qaida suspects. That is total hogwash. Reports have already come out detailing Bushie spying campaigns against every liberal group in the country, including vegans, Quakers, environmentalists and the UN security council. Also, I'm sure they bugged democrats. They always cheat, remember, then they always coverup and lie.

When Bush is impeached and removed I hope they turn him over to the Hague for war crime trials, along with Cheney.
