I think it would be hard to draw many comparisons, but the nomadic aspect Arab and American Indian culture shared in the past might be one.

Buddy, The baubles, and blankets, didn't get any land except for Manhattan Island, but that's New York for you. Go figure. The only was the land was wrested from the Indians, was by treaties broken by the white man, and murder.

Before you spout off your mouth again, about the subject of American Indians, read the book titled "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee", by Dee Brown. You will learn how one culture raped another.

Based on observations of the behavior of our current administration, I would say that the United States is preparing to leave rather than putting Iraqis on reservations and taking their resources.
