Well, since I posted to you about drunk driving, on this thread, in this string of conversation, on this topic, I figured you might have noticed. Silly me to think that. Message 22016736 I never expect people to follow me around. And if people DO follow me, I'd almost always prefer they didn't, and I would never act as if I expected it- just FYI.

In fact, until there is a large study done on the rammifications of legalizing, I'm still in the middle COLUMN. Actually, I'm surprised to find you counting yourself in the middle column given that you came out swinging on the negative side. The problem is that there will never be a study done as long as people sit in the middle column waiting for a study to be done, looking for all intents and purposes like they're opposed. The only way to get serious work done on the implications of legalization is to get a critical mass of people advocating for it based on their thoughtful but less than academic processing of the factors and their energy for improving conditions. Only then can a model be proposed and rigorously tested.
