The people in Europe had grown in a custom of cultivation, resource extraction and land ownership. The natives of America had grown in a custom of open skies and take only what you need from the environment.

It was not so much stealing, as enforcing their ideas about resource allocation on a new culture that chose to remain separate rather than integrate.

Isn't it beautiful when a modern culture shares the good parts of modern civilization with another without forcing them to adopt the whole package, and without "taking their land".

It was not really an "invasion". That term simply doesn't fit. It was a SPILLING OVER. Europe in the era of the Thirty Years War and the social sterility that followed drove thousands of "excess" people away. In America they could eat. Eventually they prospered, and millions more followed.

It wasn't Europe's aggression that created America, it was Europe's FAILURE and near collapse...
