Peter, You may have a point. It would be neat if somebody made something that is like an iPod for the non-portable world, which doesn't suffer from limitations imposed by portability requirement. A small display with simple interface as part of the "box" would make it into a product (as opposed to white box) A friend of mine is getting something from this company: logicsupply.com but it's nothing special.
