Maybe. I remember a "concerned mother of three" who seemed to have had quite a chunk of cash during a recent election, judging by the amount of air time "she" had bought.

TP, there will always be ways to circumvent campaign finance laws. As long as there is free speech, those with the money and the resources will always hold an advantage in the media over those who don't.

One alternative is to focus on exposing the money, rather than trying to block it. Then people can decide for themselves whether the ads they see and hear over and over again are genuine or suspicious.
