It certainly has that possibility if we suddenly abdicate our responsibility to wage war against Al Qai'da and Islamo-Fascism.

Thats not the problem. Al Qai'da & Sunnis can be handled by the democratic majority (Shia) if we assist in arming them suitably. The problem is that it is not in our interest to assist the democratic majority in that manner.

t would be an effective I/O campaign were this administration to assist in advocating a political campaign that encouraged Iraqis not to be pawns of any nation (including our own), but to join together to create a strong and prosperous Iraq for their OWN benefit.

Of course, but we have been beating that drum already, and look how our candidates faired in the election. Do you think that even in the USA we could get 50+% of Reps and 50+% of Dems to vote for a centrist candidate for Pres? Look at the political threads on SI! No way. Much less so in Iraq between Shia, Sunni, and Kurd. Won't happen.
