"and everyone around me seems to be busier trying to impeach the other party, rather than demanding that they all get replaced."

Huh? I have more than once advocated filing charges against everyone who has had the slightest contact with Abramoff. Republican or Democrat, if they are crooked, they need to go.

Personally, I think the Abscam probe should have been on ongoing one.

I think we're perfectly happy to see maybe 8 Dems follow 52 Repugnicans out the door for corruption and bribe-taking. But don't distort the percentages! That's what the chimp is trying desperately to do, even as he keeps at least $114,000 of the $120,000+ he took from Abramoff.

I'm sitting here in the middle wondering why we have a bunch of corrupt officials and everyone around me seems to be busier trying to impeach the other party, rather than demanding that they all get replaced.

You're kidding yourself if you think you are sitting in the middle. The only reason you're not standing with Bush is because he proved to be incompetent in Iraq. Had he succeeded like you imagined he would, or how you fantasized he should, you would be extolling his virtues. Now all you are doing is looking for his replacement.........someone that thinks like you and Cheney who can do the job competently. What you don't realize is a competent person would not have undertaken such a ridiculous venture in the first place. What you don't realize is your approach to international diplomacy is on a neophyte level that threatens the well being of this nation.

As for your political claim that you stand in the middle and that you are a voice of moderation.......horse puckey! Bush has managed to move this country so far right that it looks that way to you. However, the real voices of moderation are probably John, CJ and Al. As for me, I admit that I no longer stand for moderation. The right has filled me with such revulsion I am now the farthest left I have ever been in my entire life. Hopefully, if and when sanity comes back to this country, I will move back closer to the center.

But until then, I am a staunch and proud liberal!
