I'm sure if Laura started talking about auto safety her own history would inevitably come up. As a former Texan, I'm familiar with the Midland/Odessa area where her "accident" happened. It's a flat as a pancake plain with no obstructing trees - there's really no way a sober person could not see an approaching car. And what are the odds of running a stopsign and T-boning your own boyfriend? Why wasn't she even issued a citation for running the stopsign? There are MANY unanswered questions about the entire incident.

I've personally known teenaged girls who have done INSANE seeming things on discovering their boyfriend's infidelity.
