Defend the Republican Senate? Point out when I've defended them? They are covered in manure and I'd post those articles here, if all of you hadn't already done so. However, in your zeal to judge and prosecute the Republicans, you conveniently fail to acknowledge that the same level of corruption is happening among your own Democratic brethren. Stop being so naive. What's wrong with this Congress has perhaps been brought into the limelight by a Bush administration that has flaunted their disregard for following the laws of this country, but those flaws in our Congress existed long before Bush came into office and they will continue when he is gone, unless we flush it clean and pass laws that DRAMATICALLY limit the power of lobbyists, PACs, and butterboys. This whole system of government is broken.
