Yahoo takes the entire list of 154 stocks in a single portfolio, including foreign symbols. The Yahoo portfolio downloads into Excel as a CSV file and you can use lookup formulas to update prices in the Contest database Excel spreadsheet. Although I haven't done all the various sorts John did, as indicated in my prior post, if it's of any assistance I can easily provide updates of the contestant performance & rankings.

Hey, Filo,

Have you dealt with munches yet? Since XGEN is a stock and warrant deal, I can't just use an exchange rate and end up with CALP in my portfolio, so Fred's suggestion of using the last available closing price as a proxy for a cash buyout and treating it as such seems the only viable way to deal with it. But then we get to the issue of what to do with my funds. In the past, we've handled it like this:

Message 18843676

But that was back when we had the portfolio feature and could do it ourselves. This time, I think you're going to have to do it. I'll give you a heads up when the time comes.

Meanwhile, does everyone agree that Fred's suggestion for dealing with this munch is best?

Cheers, Tuck
