The one flaw with that analysis of hydrogen is that it is already well understood by Hydrogen Economy proponents that hydrogen is not a fuel and that it requires energy to break hydrogen away from molecules. I think the ultimate goal of Hydrogen Economy proponents is to use some form of renewable or no polluting energy such as wind or solar or even nuclear (I know it creates nuclear waste) to break the bonds and create a stockpile of hydrogen for future use. If that could be done inexpensively, the hydrogen could be utilized as a means of providing abundant energy in a green way.
