My sense of incredulity comes from the fact that I haven't seen anyone acknowledge that going from "greener electricity" (TBD) to hydrogen and then to electricity makes less sense than going from "greener electricity" to electrical storage. Why create an infrastructure to send hydrogen all over the place when we have that capability with electricity right now (albeit it needs some work)? What is so special about hydrogen as a means of storing energy? It's not like we can milk stars yet.
