It's a power-hungry politician's wet dream. Totally against the spirit of the Founding Fathers, but hey, they never faced "jihadists" so what did they know? The Bush administration does not seem to be too good at managing the war, natural disaster relief effort, entitlement programs (medicare drug plan), contributions from lobbyists, and federal budgets - but they are terrific in managing politics. They don't want to discuss what FISA is suppose to do, or how to fix it, but they can get all their acolytes to stand behind the president and say that the president can do whatever he wants and if you don't support the president you are not patriotic. They are also good at spreading the blame. Republican lobbyist Abramhof gave money to democrats also. Where is the oppositon politcal party to all this goings on?
