Hi, the "clear type" suggestion has caused some improvement.

As for DVI input, the monitor has VGA input (which I am using), the normal three pronged input (red, yellow, white) that is used to connect DVD players, and a five part "component" input. However, going out of the computer (at the moment) I only have VGA.

Are you saying its possible to buy a 640 x 480 capable video card with a DVI output, and connect them using that?
