That's funny... Her MSN, her snowboard, her dances ... all are privileges... Now don't get me wrong... OTHOH @ 16 I will ensure she can drive a car... she will not need to argue for her license :O) And yes I find ways to make sure she earns her privileges... I agree these are healthy enterprises ... She has a couple of friends she has had from kindergarten as the French immersion kids are a close group (minority).. Anyway something came up recently and she was troubled... after I questioned her.. she blurted out I can't believe so and so has become such a skank... While I was taken aback by her frankness I was of course happy that she recognised this... so far so good... She's goofy at times as I would expect for her age... but level headed, kind and firm all at once... It's quite fun as we let her test her limits more and more... and sequentially allow her victories in due course... Well more fun for me as I find I must arbitrate between her and her mother quite often... Al
