We need the UN. The present problems with Iran demonstrate why we need the UN. We can't deal with the problem ourselves. We need the cooperation of all nations in the Security Council.

I doubt we will ever leave the UN, but giving rogue countries a say in world affairs makes about as much sense as letting convicts vote.
