Awards, medals, etc. are for POLITICIANS--i.e. THOSE WHO PROMOTE THEMSELVES. Edward G. Robinson was never nominated for an academy award. Does that affect what was he was as an actor one iota? NO. Arafart won the Nobel PEACE Prize. He was a mass murderer. The Pulitzer prize is given by leftwingers. Look at the list of judges sometime. For the last decade, Hollywood gives its Academy awards to leftwingers and leftwing agenda pushers. It appears from this article on Murtha and his "medals" that Murtha, like lefty "war hero" Kerry, was a politician when it came to promoting himself to the medals. This is hilarious---that Murtha is as phony as John Kerry in the "war hero" category. Just like Kerry, Murtha refuses to release his records.

Whoa! Swiftvets Redux! Very interesting, indeed! Republicans would never, never think of engaging in a smear campaign against somebody who crossed W, would they? It's purely coincidental that stuff like this is perpetually emanating from Rove, and gets picked up by faithful suckups across the country. Maybe LindyBill's Church of W will follow up with thousands of obsessive posts about Murtha, just like they did with the original swiftvets crap- who can say? I'm glad you've found collegiality here with the likes of paret, Ish, and jlallen. Just the kind of incisive, high-minded dialog W's true believers are known for everywhere.
