Chavez is the thief. Venezuela made deals with prescribed terms re. royalties & taxes with foreign oil companies to develop their heavy oil reserves. Years later Chavez changed the rates retroactively and accused the foreign companies of dodging the new higher taxes. Plus this year he is forcing the foreign companies to give the national oil company massive interests in their projects.

Meanwhile, the national oil company's production has plummeted since he's been in office. Which of course is the reason the foreign companies are being looted.

U.S. oil companies are a bunch of thieves. All you have to do is take a look at their earnings since 9/11. Even the U.S. congress started an investigation but the corrupt greedy republicans put a stop to it. The same republican leaders that are now under investigation on AbramoffGate. They are GREEDY THIEVES & BUSH IS A LYING POS BIG OIL WHORE!
