Great job of staying with it, Altie..

I think I'll go run some stairs. Thanks for the nudge..

I am LOVING the beginning of this Steelers game.

I may hop on the eliptical cross trainer tomorrow and see
what it is like.

I appears to be low impact on your joints.

Is it tricky to get coordinated with that machine?

Nice work doing an hour each time. I'm going to push towards
that this week.

That must burn a lot of calories.

I rode a stationary bike that you sit back on and hold onto
these handles near my butt (no, not my love handles, the
bike's handles).

I set it to the Fat Burn setting.

Started out easy wheeling but then it simulated as if I was
heading up hill. Then it got steeper and steeper where my
legs were burning. Finally it got easier as we headed back
down hill.

Up. Down. Up. Down.

Anyhow I saw this little picture of a heart and it simulated
beating. Then I saw a number that was my pulse.

I said how cool is that! But wondered how the heck it was
able to read my pulse? I thought, what is there some sort
think hearing my heart? It is picking up a pulse from my
posterior?

Finally I figured out that it was getting my pulse read from
the handles.

Anyhow, do any of you know what the target pulse rate is
supposed to be during aerobic exercise?

P.S. Steelers are looking good right now.

My youngest daughter is a Steeler fan. She calls Roethlisberger "Hamburger", and Heinz Ward "The Ketchup Man".
