I'm with you Lino all the way. I'm not religious, funerals and weddings only, kids not Christened or any of that. Legalising Pot won't work because there will be an underground delivery network because it is so profitable. As I said earlier, if you price Pot so low to put criminals out of work, you will also put distillery workers out of work too and make us a drug dependent society. All you people who go on about prohibition, well society is much richer and can easily afford the odd bottle of scotch or Gin, unless they are alkies. Home distillation is a hassle, so you could be a moonshiner somewhere but there is a very limited market.

I don't have a problem with the death penalty, but since we have had cases where the police proved the case even though there was evidence that the accused might have been innocent, and Crown Attorneys who hid evidence of an accused being innocent in order to get a conviction, how about this. If someone is executed, and later it is found that the police or the Crown hid evidence of their innocence, how about executing them? Just to keep them honest you understand. The people who convicted David Milgaard paid no penalty, even now the country treats him as if he were the criminal, although his accusers sent an innocent boy to jail for 25 years. Or Donal Marshall is another good example. The lawsuits should be paid by the Crown and the police investigators and they should be liable for prison time. In the end they don't even apologise.
