Not having been there NZ, and not having experienced NZ lamb. I must rely on the experience of a young lady I used to know from Kodiak Alaska.

She was a cross country and track distance runner. Weighed about 100lbs (45 Kg) soaking wet. She went to NZ as an exchange student. She came home for Christmas, almost starving, having lost over 10 lbs to the high 80's. She could not stand mutton and lamb.
