Who knows? Some claim that killing Bin Laden merely would make him a martyr.

Personally speaking, Bin Laden is a figure head now, if he's even still alive (we haven't heard from him for almost a year now). Zawahiri is the real power, and as head of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, he's an even greater threat, IMO. I really hope we nailed him the other day in that attack.

But stopping the suicide attacks? It's going to take far more than just killing some of the leadership. We have to target and kill the recruiters and spiritual advisors who brainwash these young people into believing that suicide attacks, especially targeting civilians, are honorable.
