FIZZ....about the as I get older thing. Do I have one for you, I refuse to look this up....I am going to remember it or find someone who does.

OK.....This wide receiver was benched along with "Druck". They may have been sophomores. We were in Lane stadium playing someone like Auburn or WVU ( can't remember ). The QB at the time, was maybe Al Clark or Maurice Deshazo, the qb was a mediocre talent. We were getting blown out 45 to 15 something like that and Beamer gets Druck into the game along with this wide receiver with a minute 15 left on the game clock.

Druck drops back and spots his man streaking down the sideline and unleashes a perfect spiral of 65 yards and hits the guy in stride. No one had heard of Druckenmiller or the receiver and were all talking about it exiting the staduim.

Who was this receiver....he and Druck ended up beating Texas in the Sugar Bowl like 35 to 7...

Some guy said it was Gary Clark but I think he played for JMU ...the receiver went on to the pros and had a good career...Does this ring a bell.!!!

Go Tech...
