All In The Family
by Matt Margolis :: August 30, 2005 2:56 PM
I am sure Harry Reid would tell you that there is no conflict of interest here...
Reid successfully pushed legislation in 2002 that opened tens of thousands of acres of federal land for private development by none other than his sons' employers. The legislation was chock full of jargon, and Reid never mentioned the companies that stood to benefit or his sons' connections to them.
Nope... none at all.

I saw Reid on the tube last night. He's from Nevada, and has taken campaign money from supporting indian tribes there, with not one dollar directed to him by Abramoff, who he's never met. He hasn't returned any of the money, which is all entirely legal. He's an unafraid, honest man.
