Ireland was one of the last countries to repeal the anchor baby law. They finally repealed it after it was being abused to allow entry to the EU.

Seems to me that dual citizenship is frowned upon for natural US citizens...The US looks the other way in regards to a select country or two.

Thanks for that - I've never had a baby, let alone had one overseas! It sounds like we should follow suit, it makes so much sense - WHY haven't we?
