The Japanese are sitting on a big pile of enriched uranium. They could have an extensive nuclear arsenal inside of a year.

Some, including a group of Iranians that are pretty famous for leaking Iranian secrets, think Iran is a heck of a lot closer to nukes than anyone thinks. Some think they could be as close as a year or less away.

Remember, the world thought N. Korea was 2-3 years away, when they let it leak that they had a nuke.
